Cinnamon & Raisin Peanut Butter Granola

A crisp, lightly spiced granola to sweep you out of bed. Perfectly crunchy with your favourite yog, or with fresh milk glugged into a bowl.

Equipment Needed

Mixing bowl, spoon, baking tray, baking paper

Ingredients

  • 200g Porridge oats
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon & Raisin Peanut Butter
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • A little handful of raisins
  • 2 tbsp Mixed seeds
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Method

1. Heat your oven to 150°C fan/Gas Mark 3.

2. Add all your ingredients to a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spoon your mixture out onto it. We found it best shaped as an oval (avoids overbaked corners!) and roughly 1 inch thick.

4. Place in the oven and bake for 15 mins.

5. Take it out of the oven and give it a gentle mix, creating larger clusters as well as crumbly oaty bits, then pop it back in the oven for another 15 mins.

6. Remove from the oven and allow to completely cool before jarring it up and feeling a little bit smug about your breakfast plans for the morning.

Recipe Notes

Make a speedy cheats crumble by sprinkling liberally over baked apples and drown in custard.
